Man and Machine, part of the Mensch und Maschine Group, one of Autodesk’s largest global Platinum Partners, announces today that they have acquired the activities of Benchmarq’s Autodesk business division. The acquisition is part of Man and Machine’s continued growth strategy in the UK to be the leading provider of software and services for the Architectural, Engineering, Infrastructure, Process and Manufacturing industries.
“Benchmarq have over the years built a solid and loyal customer base and we look forward to a smooth transition and supporting their clients with our extensive BIM, CAD and Data Management experience. We pride ourselves on delivering an excellent customer service and we welcome them to our community of customers. We will endeavour to contact all clients within the first fortnight of the completion of the acquisition.” Phil Read, Managing Director, Man and Machine.
“With the consolidation of the Autodesk reseller channel in recent years, it has become clear that scale is increasingly important to be able to provide our software customers with the full breadth of the Autodesk portfolio in a very competitive environment. At the same time, as a smaller player in the market, Benchmarq has been developing its proposition to customers around CAD and BIM project services and training. Transitioning our software customers, many of whom have been with us for many years, over to Man and Machine, an Autodesk Platinum Partner, will ensure continuity of support and supply while at the same time enabling Benchmarq to focus on developing its service offering further.” Phil Pinder, Director, Benchmarq Ltd.
