We recently came across an issue whereby printing an Adobe PDF from Inventor using the Adobe PDF Print option would return a text file error stating ‘No PDF File Produced’ (full error message below).
Troubleshooting
Within the error message we noted one of the fonts in use in the document. This could indicate that your font is either corrupt, or the font in Inventor does not exist locally. In this case we ensured that the font required was available locally, however this did not help.
It could also indicate a miscommunication between the two products, Adobe and Inventor. We ensured that Adobe Acrobat and Inventor were up to date, however this did not resolve the issue. We also ran a repair on the two programs, which did not work.

Solution to Printing Adobe PDF from Inventor
We were able to fix this issue in the printing options by selecting Properties… for Adobe PDF, and in the Adobe PDF Settings unchecking the “Rely on System Fonts Only”, this allows Adobe to pick up Inventors fonts.
